Travel in China, Hongkong - The fourth Hong Kong Music Fair opened on Thursday, showcasing the latest music products and exploring multimedia opportunities amid the international financial crisis.

About 70 exhibitors from Hong Kong, the Chinese mainland and other countries around the world are taking part in the music fair, which continues through Saturday.

The inaugural Hong Kong Digital Music Awards Presentation Ceremony, to be held on Saturday, is one of the music fair's highlights to pay tribute to the most popular downloaded and streamed songs, music videos and ring tones.

Also new at the music fair this year is a free business- matching service to help small and medium enterprises explore partnership opportunities amid the international financial crisis with exhibitors, including record and music companies and entertainment groups. The organizer has already lined up more than400 business appointments between exhibitors and small and medium enterprises.

A series of live performances, product demonstrations and seminars will also be held during the music fair.

The Hong Kong Music Fair is one of the nine feature events of Entertainment Expo Hong Kong, which kicked off in Hong Kong Monday spotlighting some of the world's best film, television, music and digital entertainment.

Under the theme of "Get into the Scene", this year's Entertainment Expo lasts from March 23 to April 19.
