Location: Inner Mongolia
China attractions - Hulun Buir is located at northeast of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China. The grassland is named after Hu-lun Lake and Buir Lake, west to the Greater Khingan Range, 650-700 meters above sea level and low-lying in the west than east with a total area of about 93,000 square kilometers grassland. The annual average temperature here is around 0℃, only spring wheat, potatoes and a small amount of vegetables can be planted here.

Chinese wildrye grows throughout low hills belt while high quanlity meadow covers flood plain. It's natual traditional pastoral area fits for gazing cattles, sheep, horses, known for its famous herding Sanhe Yellow Cattles and Sanhe Horses. Large areas of dene and unique Pinus sylvestris forests lie in the central south of Hulun Buir. And Binzhou railway traverses across the land.
Hulun Buir is one of the largest three prairies in the world which grows highest quality grassland. It's cradle of Mongolian includes hundreds of small lakes. Hulun Buir is world renowned for three reasons. First, it's the birthplace of famous emporer, Genghis Khan. Second, the high quality grass of Hulun Buir pasture has been exported to Southeast Aisa. And third, well-known herds of Sanhe Yellow Cattles and Sanhe Horses is fed here.
Travel to Hulun Buir prairies, you can take a camel ride or on horseback. You also can roam around by a cart or fishing on one of the lakes and hunting in forests. Enjoy the scenery of the grassland.
