China attractions - Zhejiang Provincial Museum is a regional museum, located at the south of the picturesque Solitary Island and quite near to various sightseeing spots along the West Lake. Originally built in 1929, it is a courtyard-style architecture featuring a garden south of the Yangtze River. It was renovated and expanded in 1993.
The museum displays the famous Neolithic (Hemudu) relics, which were excavated in Yuyao County, Ningbo, China, and exhibits a comprehensive collection of bronze wares, vessels as well as paintings from different dynasties. It has a collection of over 100,000 pieces of cultural and historical relics and heritage of all kinds.
